Puccini: La Bohème

Murger's vivid portrayal of struggling artists in Scènes de la Vie de Bohème comes alive in Puccini's timeless opera. Set against a backdrop of materialism, the poignant love story of poet Rodolfo and the delicate Mimi captures the essence of longing and passion. This new production, directed by Claus Guth, reimagines the narrative in a bleak future where hope is scarce. Here, love and art emerge as the only pathways to transcendence, complemented by some of the most exquisite music ever composed for the stage, making it a breathtaking experience for audiences.
