Laura's world shatters when she suspects her husband of infidelity, even as she engages in her own passionate affair. Struggling to salvage their marriage, her hidden past surfaces, intensifying her paranoia and leading to increasingly erratic behavior. As her grip on reality loosens, anyone who crosses her path becomes a target, exposing the disturbing fantasies that shield her from the truth. The film delves into Laura's psychological decline, illustrating how desperation can distort perception and drive a person to dangerous extremes as she confronts the consequences of her actions.
