Stephen Elliott, a writer dependent on Adderall, faces a crisis when his estranged father reappears, insisting that Stephen has exaggerated his traumatic childhood experiences. As he grapples with his memories and their authenticity, he finds guidance from three key influences: a budding romance, his loyal best friend who knows his past, and a gripping murder trial that eerily parallels his own life. This narrative, inspired by Elliott’s memoir, explores the complexities of truth and storytelling in the shadow of personal turmoil.
