In the midst of the Great Depression, two wandering laborers embark on a quest for a better life. George, a sharp and protective figure, looks after Lennie, a kind-hearted but mentally challenged giant. Together, they seek work in the agricultural fields, hoping to save enough to achieve their shared dream of owning a piece of land. As they navigate the harsh realities of life and friendship, their aspirations clash with the harsh world around them, leading to heart-wrenching decisions that test the bonds of loyalty and the fragility of dreams.
