Six vignettes unfold across Paris, each crafted by a different director, showcasing the city’s diverse tapestry of life. From the romantic entanglements and the gritty realities of St. Germain des Pres, Gare du Nord, Rue St. Denis, and Montparnasse et Levallois, love and desire take center stage. Rohmer presents a charming tale in Place d'Etoile, revolving around a haberdasher and his umbrella. Meanwhile, Chabrol delves into the quirks of a bourgeois family grappling with the peculiar necessity of earplugs in La Muette. Each story captures a unique slice of Parisian existence.
