During an international science conference in Australia, Dr. Austin Shepard vanishes without a trace. His colleague, Christopher Richardson, along with others, grapples with the urgency of a looming catastrophe, all while striving to keep the details under wraps. Although a supernova doesn't fully materialize, solar explosions unleash devastating chaos across Australia, prominently affecting Sydney and rippling out to cities globally. As the situation escalates, the race against time intensifies, revealing both the fragility of human knowledge and the catastrophic power of the cosmos.
