In rural Connecticut, former baseball players Ben and Mickey navigate the horrors of a zombie apocalypse. As they struggle to survive, they adopt a unique strategy, forming a battery where Ben pitches and Mickey catches, cleverly using their skills against the undead. Their contrasting personalities lead to frequent clashes over survival tactics. Just when hope seems lost, a mysterious human voice crackles through their walkie-talkies, igniting a debate between Mickey's optimism and Ben's skepticism. The duo must decide whether this signal represents a chance for salvation or a potential trap.
