Mutant Python

A remote village in northern Fujian is thrown into chaos when a python devours the father of the groom during Dong Wenhui and Qian Xiuchen's wedding. In a desperate act, Dong Wenlin discards the serpent’s carcass on the altar, provoking the wrath of the python king. Rooted in the region's ancient snake-worshipping traditions, the narrative draws inspiration from local legends, such as the popular tale of "The Long Snake Immortal Marries His Wife." This cultural backdrop enriches the film's tense and supernatural elements, blending folklore with horror.
