David's Mother

Sally Goodson has devoted herself to raising her autistic son, David, after her husband abandoned them years ago. When a social worker uncovers Sally's attempts to evade the system to keep David at home rather than place him in an institution, tensions rise. Both Sally and the social worker believe they have David’s best interests at heart, but their views clash dramatically. As Sally begins to explore a budding romance with John Nils, the conflict intensifies, forcing her to navigate the complexities of love, motherhood, and the societal pressures surrounding her son’s care.
