A lively ensemble brings humor and energy to this musical parody of classic cowboy films, featuring catchy tunes by Jay Livingstone and Ray Evans, complemented by vibrant, Oscar-nominated sets. Rosemary Clooney stars as the spirited performer at the Red Dog Saloon, captivating audiences with her can-can dance. However, she’s waiting for Jason (Jack Carson) to propose before she fully commits. Meanwhile, gun-toting rivals Guy Mitchell and Gene Barry believe they need to settle a score. Local townsfolk, including Frank Faylen and Buddy Ebsen, hope for an explosive showdown to turn their misfortune into a festive barbecue.
