In 1858, a humble peasant girl named Bernadette experiences a profound vision of a "beautiful lady" while walking through a city dump in Lourdes, France. She simply describes the encounter, but the townspeople believe it to be the Virgin Mary. Dismissed as delusional by arrogant government officials and disregarded by the church, Bernadette's revelations gain momentum, drawing increasing crowds and sparking fervor throughout the community. As her following grows, the event profoundly impacts the lives of those around her, leading to a transformative spiritual awakening in the town.
