The Beach House

Four individuals from a disillusioned Arab generation navigate the remnants of past ideologies and values. Set in an architecturally striking house—an experimental blend of modern and Islamic design by renowned Iraqi architect Refaat Chaderji—this film captures a night filled with their candid dialogues and unusual behavior. The structure, perched precariously on a rugged coastline, serves as a backdrop to their emotional detachment and intellectual apathy. Through their interactions, the film poignantly reveals the chaos and emptiness that defines their lives and relationships amid the relentless waves of the Mediterranean.
