Under the Dog

Set in Neo Tokyo in 2025, five years after a devastating terrorist attack during the 2020 Olympics, students with extraordinary powers are recruited into a UN-sanctioned anti-terrorism unit. These gifted individuals face off against various threats, including fellow ability users, under the constant threat of death—failure means not only their demise but also the loss of their families, who bear explosive implants. Among them is Anthea Kallenberg, a Swedish recruit on a personal quest for identity as she navigates the treacherous world of covert operations.
