In August 2014, the world was shaken by a chilling video showing the execution of American photojournalist James Foley, who appeared in an orange jumpsuit next to an ISIS militant. This harrowing moment not only exposed a new dimension of terror but also deeply affected Foley's family. Directed by Brian Oakes, a lifelong friend of Foley, the documentary takes viewers on a journey from their quiet New England roots to the perilous battlegrounds of Libya and Syria. Here, Foley risked everything to shine a light on the suffering of civilians caught in conflict.
