Amid the rugged beauty of Yosemite Valley, a vibrant counterculture emerged among climbers who embraced a lifestyle of dumpster-diving and raucous gatherings, often at odds with the National Park Service’s conservative ethos. Over the decades, these climbers have relentlessly challenged both nature’s vertical walls and the prevailing norms, competing fiercely for dominance on the iconic cliffs. "Valley Uprising" chronicles this thrilling saga, highlighting a 50-year journey of audacious rock climbing and the ongoing confrontation with both gravity and regulations that define the spirit of Yosemite National Park.
