Angela, a ten-year-old with a vivid imagination, strives to save her six-year-old sister, Ellie, from what she perceives as an inherited evil responsible for their mother’s mental decline. Driven by her belief, Angela creates intricate rituals involving purification, including confining themselves within a circle of dolls and toys, hoping to summon a vision of the Virgin Mary. As her obsession deepens, the line between reality and delusion blurs, leading to a haunting conclusion that reflects her fragile mental state and the consequences of her misguided attempts at salvation.
