Spanish Lake

Spanish Lake presents a daring exploration of 'white flight' in the post-WWII suburb of Spanish Lake, Missouri. The documentary delves into the town's swift economic downturn and demographic shifts, driven largely by systemic racism and policies that encourage white residents to leave. Through its unyielding lens, the film mirrors the escalating political polarization, racial strife, and burgeoning anti-government attitudes prevalent in America today. This poignant examination invites viewers to reflect on the broader implications of these societal changes.
