Mother's Little Helpers

Joy Pride, a free-spirited relic of the 70s, faces her mortality with only weeks left to live. Her estranged children reunite, driven by a mix of obligation and unresolved feelings, determined to reconcile with a mother whose choices have long haunted them. As they navigate their complicated relationships, the film humorously explores the selfish nature of grief, emphasizing that, even in death, familial ties often become a stage for personal dramas. Ultimately, “Mother’s Little Helpers” reveals how love can be as messy and complicated as life itself.
