Mona is fiercely ambitious, setting her sights on winning the Miss American Miss pageant at any cost—even if it means sacrificing her relationship with her daughter. Enlisting her best friend to care for the child (since a beauty queen can't be a mother), she believes victory is within her grasp. However, just as her dreams seem attainable, a surprising rival emerges, challenging her resolve and priorities. In her quest for beauty and fame, Mona discovers that true love and connection may be the ultimate prize after all.
