Final Flesh

The Pollard family engages in a serene conversation about their imminent demise from an atomic bomb. As they contemplate their fate, Mrs. Pollard shares a vivid dream where she indulges in a luxurious bath filled with the metaphorical "Tears of Neglected Children." The juxtaposition of their casual discussions about mortality with her surreal, evocative imagery creates a striking commentary on human existence and the absurdity of life’s finality. As the tension builds, the family's reflections intertwine with dark humor and surrealism, making for a thought-provoking exploration of despair and hope.
