An old phonograph comes to life, playing enchanting melodies on wax drums until it ultimately self-destructs. While it serves as a companion piece to Renaissance, Borowczyk's final venture into 'object' animation reveals a hauntingly poignant quality. The film's unique blend of creativity and melancholy resonates deeply, showcasing the beauty and fragility of art through the lens of a seemingly ordinary object. This captivating short encapsulates the magic of music and the transient nature of existence, leaving viewers with a bittersweet sense of nostalgia.
