Their peaceful life is disrupted when Jean falls prey to a sinister and influential elderly man with a dark secret. This unsettling story tackles a taboo subject that shocked audiences, ultimately leading to its mixed reception, both commercially and critically. Though it may not have found success, the film's bold themes challenge societal norms and provoke thought on a deeply disturbing issue.
