Visionary designer Bakker expands his lifelong commitment to zero-waste activism by creating the Future Food System, a self-sustaining home that generates shelter, food, and energy while repurposing by-products as fuel or fertilizer. Collaborating with renowned chefs Matt Stone and Jo Barrett, Bakker assembles a diverse team of builders, engineers, and specialists in agriculture, aquaponics, and biochemistry. Together, they bring this ambitious project to life at Melbourne’s Fed Square, culminating in the opening of an innovative farm-to-table restaurant that embodies sustainable living and culinary excellence.
