In Victorian London, a compassionate surgeon intervenes to save a severely disfigured man from the cruelty of his captor, who exploits him as a sideshow attraction. Beneath his grotesque appearance lies a remarkable individual, endowed with profound intellect and deep sensitivity. This poignant narrative draws inspiration from the real-life story of Joseph Merrick, known as John Merrick in the film, a man who faced immense challenges due to his severe deformities in the 19th century.
