Nuclear Now

"Nuclear Now" offers an in-depth examination of the nuclear industry's potential to tackle climate change and energy poverty, drawing on exclusive insights from France, Russia, and the United States. The documentary highlights the immense energy stored in uranium atoms beneath the Earth's surface, initially harnessed for military purposes before being adapted for civilian electricity generation. As the U.S. pioneered this shift away from fossil fuels, fear-driven public relations campaigns, largely supported by coal and oil industries, emerged to sway public opinion against nuclear power. The film advocates for a renewed focus on nuclear energy as a viable solution for a sustainable future.
