Few artist documentaries offer such intimate access to the creative process as this one. Over three years, Pepe Danquart shadows painter Daniel Richter, capturing his artistic journey as he paints, engages with his gallerist, discusses projects with his publisher, and shares laughs with fellow artist Jonathan Meese. The film also features interviews with collectors, highlights from auctions, and visits to record shops, providing a comprehensive glimpse into the vibrant world surrounding Richter's art. This portrait not only showcases the artist but also the community that influences and supports his work.
