Harry Shearer delivers a satirical take on the elite in Teddy Bears' Picnic. A waiter at the upscale Zanbesu Glen resort turns his movie camera into a tool of espionage, capturing the debauched antics of wealthy U.S. government and business figures during their annual retreat. As these powerful individuals indulge in excessive drinking and revelry, they also scheme for their next global maneuvers. The waiter’s mission is clear: he aims to sell the scandalous footage to the media, revealing the true nature of these so-called leaders and their morally questionable behavior.
