Set against the backdrop of 1914 Italy, as the nation teeters on the brink of World War I, a community of international artists forms a vibrant commune on the picturesque island of Capri. Their unconventional lifestyle captivates Lucia, a local shepherdess with little formal education. Drawn to their creativity and free-spirited ways, she becomes enamored with their world, sparking a transformative journey that challenges her traditional upbringing and explores the clash between art and societal norms.
