In the 1950s, Louise abandoned her family, leaving her young children behind and vanishing without a trace. Decades later, her daughter Martine has become a doctor in their quaint seaside town, while Martine's daughter, Audrey, a self-sufficient thirty-year-old, returns for a visit. During her stay, Audrey stumbles upon her grandmother's diary, which holds secrets about Louise's departure. As Audrey delves into its pages, she hopes to uncover the unspoken truths that have shaped her family's dynamics and find clarity about her own uncertain future.
