After running out of gas on a Florida highway, Pop Kwimper and his family face a pushy state supervisor eager to get them off the road. Instead of backing down, Pop opts for a life of homesteading. Alongside his son Toby and their 'adopted' kids—Holly, Ariadne, and the twins—they establish a quirky community right by the roadside. Their unconventional venture not only defies authority but also showcases the strength of family and the pursuit of dreams in an unexpected setting.
