In 2019, a wave of activism swept through Denmark as thousands of children skipped school to rally for urgent climate action, igniting support from their families. This grassroots movement significantly influenced the political landscape when elections approached, thrusting environmental policies into the spotlight. "70/30" chronicles the ambitious journey to establish a groundbreaking climate law aimed at slashing CO2 emissions by 70% by 2030. As the nation strives to become a green leader, the film questions whether politicians, citizens, and industries can unite to fulfill these lofty promises or if they will falter under real-world challenges.
