The Comedy

A jaded New Yorker, uninterested in his father's estate, spends his days with a group of friends engaging in playful yet harsh antics. They revel in mock sincerity and irreverence, often targeting the unsuspecting people around them. As their reckless behavior escalates, the lines between humor and cruelty blur, revealing deeper themes of ennui and existential dread. The film provocatively explores the complexities of friendship and the struggle against the inevitable passage of time, leaving viewers to ponder the consequences of their actions in a world that feels increasingly detached.
