In the stillness of night, Charlotte, a young girl, arrives at Roy's door, escaping her abusive father. Though he's had a bit too much to drink, Roy hesitantly agrees to let her stay for the night. What starts as a simple act of kindness soon spirals into a complicated bond as Charlotte's visit stretches on. As time goes by and her trust in Roy grows, tension escalates, prompting the audience to ponder the true nature of their relationship. With each shocking twist, the distinction between protector and predator becomes increasingly unclear, leaving us to question the reality of who they truly are.
