In "The Miser," Harpagon’s children, Cléante and Elise, are enamored with their respective partners but have yet to discuss their feelings with their thrifty father. Harpagon, a notorious miser, is determined to select suitable suitors for both of them, prioritizing wealth over love. The story unfolds as the siblings navigate their romantic desires while contending with their father's obsessive frugality. Adapted from Molière’s classic play, the tale explores themes of love, greed, and familial tension in a comedic light.
