Agnes, portrayed by Joni Durian, finds herself in a surreal predicament as she cares for her comatose brother, Andrew, played by Brandon Salkil. Her reality takes a dark turn when she starts hearing his voice urging her to commit violent acts. Blending elements of horror reminiscent of "Maniac," "Psycho," and "Patrick," INVALID showcases striking cinematography and lighting influenced by iconic Italian filmmakers like Bava, Fulci, and Argento. This unsettling narrative weaves together themes of sleaze, artistry, and raw emotion, creating a uniquely disturbing experience.
