Lyle DeRose Movies, TV Series

Lyle Allen DeRose Jr., known as Pookie, is a multi-talented performer whose compelling on-screen presence is rooted in his rich life experiences. Born on May 30, 1962, in Racine, Wisconsin, he was raised in the heart of dairy country, engaging in activities that many only see in films—milking cows, ... Read moreracing motorcycles, and operating heavy machinery. Pookie grew up in a close-knit family, with his mother, Barbara, a retired executive secretary, and his father, Lyle Sr., a retired industrial engineer, alongside his sister, Cheryl.

After two marriages, he embarked on a new chapter driving long-haul trucks, which eventually brought him to Denver, Colorado. Here, he launched a small trucking business that operated for seven years before he faced another divorce. It was during this transitional period that he caught the attention of a producer for the reality series "American Guns," filmed in Arvada, Colorado. This opportunity opened the door for Pookie to embrace his passion for performance.

His reality TV journey continued with appearances on shows like "Lords of War" and "Big Rig Bounty." Pookie gradually transitioned into acting, featuring in short films, full-length movies, and local commercials across Colorado. His diverse experiences and authenticity have made him a captivating figure in the entertainment industry, proving that sometimes the road less traveled leads to extraordinary destinations.
