Alongside Tyler Joseph, Dun has been instrumental in the band's meteoric rise, contributing not only drums and percussion but also trumpet and backing vocals. The duo's breakthrough came with the 2015 album *Blurryface*, which spawned the hit "Stressed Out" and earned them a Grammy Award for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance in 2017. Their subsequent albums, *Trench* (2018), *Scaled and Icy* (2021), and *Clancy* (2024), have all debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, cementing their status as modern rock icons.

Beyond the duo, Dun has collaborated with artists like MisterWives and Awolnation. His high-energy, acrobatic stage presence—often performing while suspended in the air or running through crowds—has made him a fan favorite. Outside of music, Dun is also known for his marriage to actress Debby Ryan.
