With a charming appearance, Noël often found himself cast in supporting roles in various films, portraying characters that were frequently troubled or self-absorbed, as well as capricious romantic interests. His filmography includes notable performances, such as Philippe de Nevers in André Hunebelle's 1959 film Le Bossu, and roles as the love interests of Danielle Darrieux in Julien Duvivier's Le Diable et les Dix Commandements (1962), Marina Vlady in Christian-Jaque's Les Bonnes Causes, and Dany Carrel in André Cayatte's Piège pour Cendrillon (1965). In addition to his acting, Noël carved out a niche in voice dubbing, providing the French voiceovers for well-known actors like Tony Curtis, Elvis Presley, and Gardner McKay in the television series Aventures dans les îles, which aired on Radiodiffusion-télévision française starting February 11, 1961.
