In 1914, Vallentin transitioned into film, where he predominantly portrayed patriarchal roles, authoritative figures, and occasionally, small-minded characters. By 1938, he had relocated to Switzerland, taking on roles at the Stadttheater Basel and the Schauspielhaus Zürich. In 1939, Vallentin emigrated to Mandatory Palestine and settled in Tel Aviv. Vallentin passed away in Tel Aviv in 1945, at the age of 73.
