In addition to his work in plasma physics, Jahn was instrumental in establishing the Princeton Engineering Anomalies Research Lab (PEAR) in 1979. This pioneering initiative focused on the exploration of parapsychological phenomena, conducting rigorous studies until its closure in 2007. Under Jahn's leadership, PEAR became a notable center for investigating the intersection of consciousness and physical systems, garnering both interest and skepticism within the scientific community.

Throughout his career, Jahn authored numerous publications that contributed to the understanding of plasma behavior and its applications. His innovative approaches and insights earned him recognition and respect among peers, making him a prominent figure in both aerospace engineering and parapsychological research. Jahn's legacy is characterized by his unique blend of scientific rigor and exploration into the unexplained, reflecting his belief in the potential of human consciousness to influence the physical world.
